"Hishio" is a specialty of Obama City, Fukui Prefecture. Wakasa Obama, an entrance to continental culture and a treasure trove of seafood from the Sea of Japan, has long produced a fish soy sauce called "Hama Shoyu".

Marukai's Uni Hishio (sea urchin sauce) is made only from fresh, raw sea urchins, and is truly a taste above the clouds. The strong flavor of Uni Hishio enhances the taste of food.

Simply add it to pasta to make Uni Hishio pasta.
